Good Luck! I found your site while googling for nice spots to work on a project this weekend -- the cafe guide is a big help.

Have you heard of Barbara Sher? She has a whole book ("Refuse to Choose") about folks with diverse interests (she calls them "Scanners") and, in particular, she fully embraces your idea of pursuing things only as long as they are enjoyable. If you haven't seen her work before, I think you would really enjoy it, if only to see your views so completely reflected back to you!
