1. Management Consulting Certification

Timeline: June 6 – September 12, 2006 (3 month, deadline extended)

Obby Description: I’m doing this obby through a volunteer organization
called USA leadership Corps. They train volunteer business
professionals to engage in a 3-month management consulting project
with a local non-profit/small business. This obby is just to get
certified. Which involves studying a 50 manual and pass a mock trial
interview with a consulting coach.

Oobby: Get certified.

Status:
8/30 – decided to drop this obby. I guess I just don’t want it enough. A main reason is that the consulting material seemed too basic and I feel like the ratio of what I will learn and the effort that I have to put in is too low.
8/25 – scheduled my interview with the program director on 9/7
6 – applied and got accepted into the program. Now, I’m
studying the manual.
