What’s an obby?

obby: noun. a hobby without the habituation. An obby is a project that lasts no longer than four month. One can either pursue an obby alone or with others. The latter is encouraged. Every obby must have a well defined oobby associated with it.

oobby: noun. a celebatory deliverable that is the result of an obby. It can be an object, activity or an event, often involving family and friends and much oohing and aahing.

hobnob: verb. to socialize familiarly. Derived from the phrase hob or nob, meaning drink and toast one another alternately.
